ALICE & OLIVIA Spring 2013 Fashion video
Take a look at some pictures and a few behind the scenes stills from the Alice & Olivia fashion film I directed out in New York back in December. It was shot over a day in their showrooms in New York and features models Ksenia Vasylchenko, Georgiana Sarev and Tali Lennox modelling Bendet’s Spring collection. The designer Stacey Bendet also appears in a brief cameo role. The film combines live-action and cut-out animation, a giant cut out heart and dozens of black telephones!!;)
Music is “Overdose” by indie pop trio Little Daylight.

BANG // MCS London
So as a lot of you are already aware Im a massive fan of the Spaghetti Western and the cowboy! At RCA I made a short animated western working with still images from a 70s comic book, the Lone Wolf and at the time I watched a number of Spaghetti Westerns. So when I came across this brilliant video Las Bandidas directed by Mathew Wilkinson featuring models Cara Delevigne, Clara Paget and Suki Waterhouse as cowgirls in a spaghetti western inspired short playful sketch for scrunchie brand MCS London I was super super excited. I absolutely love the intentionally obvious green screen and the sampled tracks, backgrounds and music! Its perfect!

I love these collages, ‘Untitled (Ebony and Jet), 2012′ by African-American artist, photographer and video artist Lorna Simpson. I came across them on my visit to Frieze London in October. Christian Louboutin at the Design Museum
I have to go to the Christian Louboutin show at the Design Museum this week. Dying to see the exhibition finally especially the Dita von Teese hologram by Musion. The hologram is projected onto a stage in the main exhibition room thats shaped like an upside-down shoe! The exhibition was designed by Hackney studio Household and includes a shadow theatre, fetish room with photographs by David Lynch and a recreation of Louboutin’s Paris studio.
Have a look at the making of the hologram here
