Clare Lopeman – Soviet-era testing glasses
I am currently working on an exciting project involving geometrics and fashion.. more details coming soon. I thought you may be interested in seeing these glasses by Moscow-based British designer Clare Lopeman. Absolutely love! The frames themselves were modeled after a pair of Soviet-era testing glasses. They are from her AW10 line -she was apparently inspired by a classic Soviet dressmaking book ‘100 Dresses’ which reflects French 50s couture silhouettes and shapes.
